The People Behind The Company
Since 1969, the Peterson family has been serving the Des Moines area by building relationships. Cary’s father, Bob Peterson, was the first in his family to go to college and worked his way thru Drake University in the 1960’s painting homes in the Drake area and South of Grand. Upon graduation he married his college sweetheart, Rosemary, and they had identical twin boys. Cary is the oldest of the twins and worked his way thru high school and college painting for his father. Upon graduation from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Marketing and with the support of his father, Cary started his own painting company. Over the years the business has grown and we have recently purchased our own building in Windsor Heights that allows us to paint doors, trim, cabinets, etc. at our shop. Cary is married to Kim who has her L.M.S.W. in Social Work and they have 3 children: Ellie, Brooklynn and Jake.
