About Peterson Painting

Cary’s father, Bob Peterson, was the first in his family to go to college and worked his way through Drake University in the 1960’s painting homes around Drake and “South of Grand”. Upon Graduation he married his college sweetheart, Rosemary, and they had identical twin boys. Cary’s the oldest of the identical twins and worked his way through college painting for his father. Upon graduation from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. in Marketing and with the support of his father, Cary started his own painting company.

Over the years the business has grown and we now own our own building with a spray booth to work on projects at our shop in Windsor Heights. This has allowed us to add additional services like: Pre-painting doors, trim, cabinets, etc. Cary’s married and has 3 kids, Ellie, Brooklynn and Jake.
